Throw a rock to see the ripples,
“Look what I did, momma!”
Hypnotized by the consequences of our actions,
We forget the realities we have altered.

We are the worst kind of spider. We plan and implement these grandiose ideas meant to make life better, easier, or somehow more comfortable than it was before. We go to college, we specialize in this field or that, we get married, and when it’s all said and done, we sit and wait for the world to change in our own favor, to suit our own personal and selfish wants and so-called needs, but what could change while we hang around simply waiting?
