Leaves which store the source of life,
Stalk of fire burning bright,
Relief for skin no longer white,
Yet so few know your name.
So many people walk by this plant without any idea how useful it is or how easy it is to grow. We waste our money on plastic bottles full of clear, green, or sometimes even blue goop labeled “Aloe Vera,” and nine times out of ten, it sits in the closet until we get burned on vacation, or it goes into the trash – product and all. Instead of adding to plastic pollution in the world, why not just grow an aloe plant of your own? They make great indoor plants, and the leaves are there whenever you need them for burns, food, or aesthetics.
