Reward is seldom without risk – your heart out on a limb,
Suspended where no net is fixed, and consequence seems grim,
But on that ledge a clarity reveals itself en masse:
Life honors all sincerity, and good shall come to pass.
Without risk, we will never reap rewards, and no large-scale change – whether positive or negative – came about without sacrifice. We have to put ourselves out there: sacrifice our fears, our comfort, our addiction to convenience, because until we do, we’re just going to continue our daily practices of insanity which will only ever lead to disappointment and our eventual self-destruction. Vulnerability is not our enemy.
